‘MemeMaker’ (hereinafter referred to as the “App”), operated by GIFUN, establishes the following policy to protect the personal information of users and to handle related complaints promptly.

Article 1 (Collection and Use of Personal Information)

  1. Local Processing: The App processes image and video files selected by the user exclusively within the device (Local Processing). The user's media files are neither transmitted to nor stored on external servers and are used only temporarily during the meme creation process.
  2. Keyboard Access: The App provides a keyboard interface to facilitate seamless meme sharing. In this process, the App does not collect, store, or transmit any text or sensitive information entered by the user.
  3. Advertising and Analytics: To provide free services and display advertisements, Advertising Identifiers (ADID) and device information may be collected by third parties (Google AdMob).
  4. Payment Information: All financial information related to in-app purchases is processed directly by the Google Play payment system. The App does not collect or store any payment information, except for payment success verification (receipt tokens).

Article 2 (Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties) The App uses tools from the following external partners to provide services. In this process, encrypted device identification information may be shared:

Article 3 (Retention and Use Period of Personal Information) The Company discards personal information without delay once the purpose of collection and use is achieved. Upon deletion of the App, information stored on the device can be discarded immediately by the user manually deleting it or by selecting 'Clear Data' within the device OS settings.

Article 4 (Rights and Obligations of Users) Users may withdraw their consent for the collection of personal information at any time by deleting the App or through device settings.
